of history still stand, some buildings and their legacy
are lost. This site is deadicated to the businesses and
people that made Nevada bustle.
On each of the following
locations in Nevada, Missouri business district, you
will be able to view buildings that comprised the business
district. By selecting a particular building of
your choice, or an address, you will
find information pertaining to the buildings and any
business at that location, information pertaining to
the proprietors, owners, or residents, and finally, photographs
and postcards that correlate to your selection.
At this time, this website is far from
finished and remains a work-in-progress. More
buildings, addresses, and blocks will be added regularly. As
much a historical database as it is a growing collection,
if you have any information to share, you are invited
to contribute. We welcome your photographs, first-person narratives,
family histories, historical memorabilia, and other
related items. |
